Kalkhoff Agattu Impulse 7 HS Step Through Frame 2017
Main Features:
Kalkhoff Impulse 2.0 drive system, The ideal weight distribution of the Kalkhoff Impulse 2.0 mid drive motor makes the bike particularly easy to ride.
Battery: 36V 14.5 Ah (522 Wh) removable Impulse Lithium Ion battery. The battery charges from empty to full in 4 hours.Range up to 150 Km on the lowest level of assistance under optimal riding conditions. Range will always vary depending on use of drive mode, how much you pedal, the type of terrain, and the rider’s weight. 1,100 complete charging cycles.
Brakes: The Agattu comes equipped with high-quality Magura HS11 hydraulic rim brakes.
Frame: Impulse V2, alloy.The model in stock has a step through frame. The center mounted battery makes for great center of gravity and a well balanced distribution of the riders weight.
Drivetrain: The rear wheel is laced with a 7 speed Shimano Nexus internally geared hub with a Shimano Nexus twist shifter located on the right grip. The Agattu’s shift-sensing technology provides quick and smooth gear-shifting; noticeably similar to a “normal” non-assisted bike.
Motor: Impulse 2.0, 36 V/250 W, with shift sensor technology.
Riding Modes: This Kalkhoff electric bike features several levels of torque-sensing pedal assist, which can easily be changed while you are riding. The Agattu can also be ridden like a regular, non-assisted bicycle by normal pedaling.
Display: The Kalkhoff Impulse 2.0 display has a backlit thumb controller for optimal night operation allowing you to thumb through the display of your speed, trip distance, battery level, and odometer. It’s positioned on the faceplate of the stem which offers excellent visibility. To change motor settings while riding, simply push the large, glove friendly keys on the handlebar control pad. This ensures safety and stability, while still allowing you to control the motor for optimal performance. The control panel has a pushing assist function also which helps to push the bike along when walking.
Top Speed: Like most electric bikes sold in Ireland, the Agattu has a top speed of 25 Km/h in keeping with the guidelines of EU law.
