These bikes help you pedal over the hills without any effort and you can enjoy the wind in your hair as you glide along. Enjoy lots of peace and quiet as you explore the magical drumlin countryside with its many rivers and lakes.
An electric bike will be delivered to you at your Castle accommodation, where our expert guide will demonstrate the bikes and give you all the details you will need for your journey. Cycling helmets, hi-vis vests, bike locks, pannier bags and self-guide maps will be provided and we will be available with back up transport if required so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
Choose from 1 night accommodation in each Castle or make your stay a little longer and explore the area further. The bikes are with you for the duration and our guide will advise on places to go, e.g. a tour over Arigna Mountain from Kilronan Castle Hotel or the county lanes and Lime Kiln at Lough Rynn Castle Hotel.

My husband and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary in Ireland and stayed at 2 castle hotels (Lough Rynn and Kilronan). We noticed that one of the activities on the Lough Rynn website was an electric bike Castle to Castle ride and stay. The bike tour part of this package is offered by EBT! It was a great way to spend a day! We had been in Ireland for about 5 days and really enjoyed our day sight seeing out of the car. Eileen from EBT had a wonderful tour mapped out and with such detail that you could never get lost. She also had some points of interest listed and a great spot for our picnic lunch. We started out staying at Kilronan Castle and the next morning Eileen brought us our bikes and gear, gave us an orientation to the route and then brought our luggage over to Lough Rynn.
Everyone we spoke to was surprised that we would be biking 37 kilometers. We are you average bikers and the route was easy to do. I decided to use the electric bike which made the hills super easy! Although at a leisurely pace you can do this ride in 3 hours (best way to see the green country side and breathtaking scenery) but we did it in about 5 1/2 hours as we stopped often, checked out the points of interest, had a lovely picnic lunch supplied by Kilronan Castle. When the tour said turn right at Gerties pub we suggest that you stop and have a pint of Guinness!
After a wonderful stay at Lough Rynn Eileen picked us up at the time we requested and collected the bikes, us and our luggage, and drove us back to our car rental at Kilronan Castle.
The bikes were in great shape and EBT brought us all the necessary gear (helmets, visibility vests, tour directions, bike bag to carry stuff). We enjoyed the exercise, the views, and a day away from all the bustle. The roads were quiet and very very safe for biking!
