Bike Hire at Lough Key Forest and Activity Park

From our bike hire base at Lough Key Forest and Activity Park hire a bike for an hour for a fun, traffic free cycle through the Forest Park 7-8 km, or hit for the hills on an electric bike and explore the high-ways and by-ways of the beautiful North Roscommon countryside.

We have self-guide maps and lots of ideas to make your cycle a fun day out.
Electric bikes, regular bikes, tandems, children's bikes, child seats and child carts and to choose from.
We provide the helmet, hi-vis vest, bike locks, pannier bags and even a rain poncho in case of a shower. Suitable for all ages and great family fun day.

Bike Hire Base at Lough Key Forest and Activity Park will be open daily from Easter Holidays to end August, Weekdays 11.00 am to 6 pm, Sun 12.00 to 6 pm.
Open weekends September and October, weather permitting.

Cycle Treasure Hunt

How about a Bottle of Bubbly and Chocolates at the end of your group activity? (minimum 10 participants). Well here at Electric Bike Trails we do just that! Take our fun filled Cycle Treasure Hunt that will keep everyone guessing! Cycle on 8 km scenic woodland trail in Lough Key Forest and Activity park. Find clues and solve riddles along the way and be amazed at the competitive edge that emerges in some of your friends! You will set off in teams with a map and list of clues to discover the locations where you will find your team colours. The team with the most clues completed in the time limit wins. Cycle using regular bikes or make the experience really easy on electric bikes. The winning team will be presented with a bottle of bubbly and chocolates to celebrate. This is a must do activity if you are looking for a fun group activity in Boyle, Carrick on Shannon or surrounding area.

Family Cycle Treasure Hunt

During June, July and August:
Explore Lough Key Forest and Activity Park the fun way - 1.5 - 2 hour activity for all the family.
Treasure hunt is on the traffic free paths in the park.

Starting point is at our bike hire outlet in Lough Key Forest Park and we will set you up with regular bikes, children's bikes, double buggy or child seat and all you need for the treasure hunt. Safety helmets are provided.
Have a Mum's team and a Dad's team or get together with another family to compete against.
Price: €16 per adult, €10 per child (12 or under).
Family Special Offer:
